Dear Parents/Guardians of our 2025 OWSHS Yr7s,
Our annual Year 6 Transitions event (O-WEEK) is fast approaching and we are looking forward to welcoming our new students and their families to Ormeau Woods State High School.
O-WEEK provides an exciting three days of high school introduction with a range of activities which will see students participate in aspects of our curriculum, house spirit and school culture.
This years O-WEEK will run from Monday 25 – Wednesday 27 November, with students moving through different activities in their new class groupings preparing them for Year 7 in 2025.
Please see below key information and permission notes (including project (media) consent forms) that will be required to be filled out and submitted before students can participate in these days.
Please complete and return to Ormeau Woods State High School by Friday 15 November 2024. Alternatively, you can email documentation through to transitions@ormeauwoodsshs.eq.edu.au
If you are yet to complete and return you enrolment pack it can be found HERE. Your child must be enrolled to attend O-Week. Please complete and return with all the O-Week paperwork to ensure a smooth transition.
