In addition to our Music Curriculum offerings, students have the option of participating in one or more of our Extra-Curricular Music Programs, or Co-Curricular Programs. All of our school music ensembles participate in rehearsals and performances throughout the year at school and community events. Our annual music showcase takes place in Term 3 every year. Extra-Curricular Music Programs
Choir
Do you like to sing? Join our choir and learn a wide variety of music in a fun, friendly environment. We focus on learning excellent singing technique and working as a team! Our choir regularly performs at school events, competes at Eisteddfods and rehearse once a week during lunch and are made up of students from grade 7 to 12.
Tech Crew
For students interested in learning about backstage theatre technologies, we offer Tech Crew. Students participate in weekly after school training and assist with the running of sound, lighting and AV for our school events. Tech Crew is an excellent choice for any student who loves understanding how things work, or performing arts students who would like to supplement their drama, dance and music skills with backstage knowledge.
Rock Band
For students who show excellence in our Curriculum Music classes we offer the opportunity to audition for our Rock Band program. This program focusses on challenging students to work in a team with like-minded students to produce performances for school and community events. They have a morning rehearsal once a week, plus an additional sectional rehearsal weekly.

Instrumental Music
The learning of a musical instrument can be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all.
Instrumental Music and Strings
Did your child learn an instrument in their previous school? Would they like to start learning a new instrument or continue learning? Our Instrumental Music program and Strings program offer students small group tuition on a brass, woodwind or string instrument of their choice. Instrumental Music students will also play in our Concert Band once a week.
Drumline
For students who are interested in drumming, we have our Drumline Program. Students in this program will receive small group tuition will also play in one of our Drumline groups in a weekly rehearsal.
